Antonio Conte has continued to be heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer as the London club continue their quest to replace José Mourinho. Tottenham owner Daniel Levy has identified the Italian manager as the right man for the job and is not interested in keeping hold of Ryan Mason, the current temporary manager at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Levy has reportedly told Conte that he will do everything to keep striker Harry Kane who has already made his desire of leaving the club known to the general public. Conte is believed to be the manager capable of restructuring and reforming Tottenham with his brilliant managerial skills and Levy sees him as the man that can then the club into one that fights for titles as well.
The decision of Kane to leave Spurs could be a huge factor in depending whether or not Conte accepts the offer and he is expected to request adequate transfer funds from the club’s board so he can sign an ideal replacement in case the striker does leave the club in the coming summer transfer window.
Levy wants to wrap up the vacant managerial position very soon so he and the new manager can start sorting likely transfers as soon as possible.
