Wolverhampton Wanderers manager NunoEspirito Santo has refused to single out individuals after the west Midlands club won their first three matches of the new Championship season.
The Wolves have earned plaudits from the fans after registering victories over Middlesbrough, Hull City and Derby County, who are all regarded as promotion hopefuls.
Championship-record signing Ruben Neves hit the headlines with his wonder strike versus Hull City in midweek, but Nuno has stressed that the success is due to the hard work of the each and every player in the squad, he said: “The goal was poetry but I’ve seen him score goals like this before. He helped the team, not only in that moment but during the game. Him and [Romain] Saiss, all the boys. We must congratulate the team. It’s not about individuals. There were good goals from Jota and Nouha, a good save from John Ruddy, Ryan Bennett came off the bench and supported the team. This is what we’re about, the team.”
