I get that, I didn’t say you were unclear, I just never trust internet “sources” is all. Im OK with Spurrier being a prick, he’s honest, he’s winning and he gets recruits that are needed. He doesn’t need to go on a scripted anti clemson rant to pump up fans etc. Majority of fans aren’t worried about “evening out” they are more concerned with now. No big deal, we agree to disagree.
As far as money…..WE ALL GOT SOME. It’s called BONUS . Yes, it is a great lead to the NFL, and MLB, but maybe at least we can all be evened out more on the field. The “Always Winning” thing does get old.

However, If Spurrier was the coach at Clemson, I would still think he is a prick with no manners. Not a coach I would want to play under. Yes, I played ball For Clemson in the middle 80’s. Followed Carolina through the black magic years, and Have much heritage in my family at Clemson. Boyd is a joke, and spurrier is a jerk. I wouldn’t pay either one of them anywhere.

Well, if i hadn’t met the guy, and hang around former players, i would have to say that i didn’t know, but i did meet him, do hang around his players, and did play “around” him, so yea’, the guy is a prick. To answer your other question, he hates it down here, because he is a FLA man, and the money/fame is not down here in”the sticks” as he calls it. To answer the last question, of why would “high profile” kids go play for a prick? Because of this thing called money. have you ever played ball?
“Correct assertion” is the correct method for pee wee leagues. Some associate Spurriers “pursuit of perfection” as being a prick. So be it. Again, why would high profile recruits come to play for an obvious “prick” as some claim? Trying to be logical here, can you explain why Spurrier “hates his job down here? that actually made me LOL, i dont think ive ever used lol. Don’t agree with you dude. I Have friends that played under spurrier, and he is a prick that hates his job down here. You draw more team attention with correct assertion, than you do being a jerk towards your players. Therefore, playing as a team.At Least That’s how it was when i played in the 80’s.
A football coach should be a leader, not a buddy. Spurrier is exactly that, and it shows. The only man to win more SEC games than Spurrier is Bear Bryant, so, there is no doubt he knows what he is doing and his formula works. Otherwise, why would all these recruits come to SC? Dabo is the cheerleader/buddy type with the emotional investment of a fan, which is recipe for disaster, imo. There is no ‘end game’ to the rivalry, so i care only about the present, you can have the roaring 20’s.
